A New Domain and A Bonsai Christmas Tree :)

12.26.2013

I finally got my own blog domain through Pangalan.com. And it's for Php199.00 or around $5 only! I originally planned to get my domain from GoDaddy.com but for some reasons, I'm having problems with Paypal. My blog is still hosted by Blogger/Google though and I plan to keep it that way for now so that I don't have to pay for hosting. If you're from the Philippines and you're planning to purchase a domain, Pangalan.com may be a great option for you. There are several ways to pay so even though you don't have a credit card, you can still get a domain. Their customer service responds quickly and they have an easy and clear guide when you search on Google. The set up is very easy and quick that right after I saved my settings, my previous domain was already redirected to my new one.

Next stop is to contact Bloglovin support to change my previous blog address which is theunfoldinggene.blogspot.com to my new one which is reaalducente.com, move my followers, and I'm all set! :) Uh, but actually, I am in the process of creating my own blog design and I'm getting crazy with all the CSS and HTML stuff. Hahaha! I'm learning so much and loving it!

I'd like to thank Rubie of iamsweetbie for answering my initial questions. Thanks Rubie! If you're wondering about the purpose of getting your own blog domain, hop on to Dana's blogs at The Wonder Forest and I Can Build A Blog. Her tutorials and tips are sooooo helpful and easy!

MEANWHILE, I'd like to show you my father's DIY Bonsai Christmas Tree! I'm missing home so much and I'm a little sad that I'm not able to spend the holidays with my parents and siblings. I guess this Christmas Tree will have to do for now. :)

Happy New Year!!!

  17. Congrats on your new domain! :) Hmm, makes me wonder about the bloglovin, di ko ata naayos yung account ko dun at sa networkedblogs. Lagot. haha

I'm a little bit sad kasi nawala yung adsense ko (hirap pa naman makapasa sa kanila) and when I pass another approval for them na denied na this time. waaaaaa!

    1. Thanks Rubie! You just need to email them and they'll move the followers for you :)

When I changed my domain, nawala rin yung Google shares ko! Aahhh, I just let it go nalang. Sorry to hear about the adsense, sana next time ma approve ka ulit :)
